Welcome to The Grand Badger Resort — a private 17,000+ sq ft estate on 40+ secluded acres of woods and bluffs near Wisconsin Dells. There are no neighbors, no shared amenities, and no other guests. The entire home, grounds, and resort-level facilities are yours.
The house sits at the end of a long, tree-lined paved drive. Inside, the scale is immediately clear: wide living spaces built for large groups, oversized bedrooms, and a layout that lets part of the group cook, part of the group play, and part of the group disappear into the theater or party garage without crowding anyone.
**Living and gathering spaces**
The main living areas are designed for the whole group to land at once — seating to spread out, room for conversations in more than one cluster, and easy flow into dining. This is the hub between meals, pool time, and late nights.
**Kitchen and dining**
A full, group-ready gourmet kitchen with all of the essentials. The dining space is sized for reunions and celebrations, not a typical vacation-rental table-for-eight.
**Sleeping**
Six oversized bedrooms and roughly 19–20 beds, sleeping 30+. Rooms are arranged so families and friend groups can have their own wing of quiet at night, then reconvene in the common spaces in the morning.
**Bathrooms**
Nine bathrooms throughout the estate, so mornings and pool days don’t turn into a line.

35+ private acres of woods, bluffs, and lawn. Outside you’ll find full-court basketball, pickleball, volleyball, and tennis — plus space to roam without seeing another house. The only company is usually birds, the occasional deer, and cattle in the distance.
The point of the property is simple: your group can stay in for three days and never run out of things to do, or use it as a private base 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Either way, every room and court on the estate is yours alone.

We booked Grand Badger Resort to get three families under one roof, and I was braced for the usual chaos: kids piled into one bathroom, husbands disappearing, someone always left out. That never happened. The en-suite bedrooms were the quiet hero. Each family had its own space to unpack, put little ones down, and close a door. Mornings didn’t start with a line for the shower, and no one was sleeping on a couch “just for the weekend.” Then the house split us up in the best way. The kids lived in the indoor pool and on the sports courts. The ladies claimed the "serenity room" and sank into the massage chairs (and actually relaxed!). The guys vanished into the golf simulator and the garage bar and enjoyed the complimentary Spotted Cow beer (nice touch!). Nobody had to take turns. Nobody had to leave the property to find something to do. We were surprised that the local Walmart had a same-day delivery option for food and supplies. Really convenient for rural Wisconsin. It felt less like a rental and more like we all got our own resort for a few days—and I got to be the mom who planned the trip that actually worked. Would book again!

We had the opportunity to preview this property. Wow. It's worth every penny. No detail overlooked. Golf set up is perfect. Pool is better than most hotels. We enjoyed seeing the deer and not seeing any other people! This is probably Wisconsin's best Airbnb!
